Maggie Pye and the Stolen Booty
‘Maggie Pye loves stealing, whether it’s way down low or up high on the ceiling.’
Maggie Pye and the Stolen Booty is a picture book about a tenacious young thief who loves to steal things, that is until she gets a taste of her own medicine. Maggie learns the hard way that stealing is harmful, when her beloved Booty (that she actually stole from Blackbeard the Pirate) goes missing, she is left bereft and bewildered. This experience leads her to change her behaviours, exercise forgiveness and build unlikely friendships. This is a funny book about making better choices.
